Israel: Finance and Office Assistant, Jerusalem Office

The Jerusalem Office are now seeking a Finance and Office Assistant to assist its organisational (finance, human resources, legal, IT and administration) functions. This role is advertised as part time, 14 hours per week on a permanent basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Finance and Office Assistant you will provide administrative support to office staff, particularly to the Head of Office. This will include processing invoices/expenses and making travel arrangements, among other things. In supporting the financial control of the Jerusalem Office's activities, you will prepare monthly balance sheets and will manage the payroll of the office via outsourced payroll providers. You will provide basic support for IT systems and user support, and will act as focal point for the capture and resolution of IT related issues and requests. Assisting the Head of Office, you will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and will be first point of contact for visitors.

ABOUT YOU

With prior experience in an administrative office role, you will have excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. You will have familiarity in providing support and best practice guidance on basic human resources matters, as well as understanding and experience in monitoring budgets and an ability to identify budget problems. An advanced communicator, you will be fluent in written and spoken English, Arabic and Hebrew. Candidates with book-keeping and payroll experience and Office IT support or training experience would be desirable.
